Dr. Chrysanni Xirouchaki
General/Family Doctor
In 2008, the doctor was admitted with honors to the Medical School of the University of Crete where she studied for 6 years and graduated with a grade of “Very Good”.
She specialized in the General Hospital of Chania “Agios Georgios” for four years in the medical specialty of General/Family Medicine. During her specialization, she trained and worked in the departments of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Psychiatry, ICU, at the Health Center of Kissamos as well as in the Emergency Department.
Το 2008, η ιατρός εισήχθη αριστούχος με Πανελλήνιες Εξετάσεις στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης όπου φοίτησε για 6 έτη και αποφοίτησε με βαθμό «Λίαν Καλώς» (8,21).
Ειδικεύθηκε στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Χανίων «Άγιος Γεώργιος» για τέσσερα έτη στην ειδικότητα της Γενικής/Οικογενειακής Ιατρικής. Κατά την διάρκεια της ειδίκευσης της, εκπαιδεύτηκε κι εργάσθηκε στα τμήματα Παθολογίας, Χειρουργικής, Καρδιολογίας, Ορθοπεδικής, ΩΡΛ, Οφθαλμολογίας, Παιδιατρικής, Γυναικολογίας, Ψυχιατρικής, ΜΕΘ, στο Κέντρο Υγείας Κισάμου καθώς και στο Τμήμα Επειγόντων Περιστατικών.
After completing the specialty, she worked in the Emergency Department of the General Hospital of Chania.
She holds a diploma in the management of people with Diabetes Mellitus from the International Diabetes Federation and she has been retrained in Emergency Prehospital Medicine. She is board certified in ALSG Pediatric Life Support (PLS). She has been certified after exams in the Acute Life Support (ALS) of the European Resuscitation Council.
The doctor constantly monitors the developments of medical science in all fields. She regularly participates in medical conferences with main interests in diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension and dyslipidemias.
Awards-Scholarships
Scholarship as an excellent student within the exchange program of the School of Medicine of the Univ. of Crete and Boston University to work for a month as a visiting student in the field of Molecula Genetics at Boston University. (August 2011)
Award from the Chaziri Cultural Center of Ag. Marina Chania as an honors student while studying at the Medical School of the Univ. of Crete during the academic years 2010-11, 2012-13, 2013-14.
